Indigenous Enterprise research partners Nyanda Cultural Tours, Kiril Park Wild Harvest and Native Oz Bushfoods shared laughs, learning and food in a recent visit to the new Elkhorn laboratories.

Over 2 days,  ARC staff provided training and education in laboratory essentials and nutrition basics, also providing Kiril Park Harvest with their very own specially designed and tailored Science Testing Kit. Partners were shown a range of different tests that are performed on their fruit, and were also given a tailored course in nutrition, delivered by Dr Olivia Wright and PhD candidate Jess Cartwright.

Partnerships and friendships were celebrated with a special lunch for everyone, which included presentations from partners Kiril Park Wild Harvest and from Kindred Spirits Enterprises Chairperson, Rhonda Renwick,  and all PhD students, who each gave a 3 minute version of their thesis.

Other special gusts in attendance included QAAFI Indigenous Engagement Manager Terry Bell and Seed Foundation CEO Brett Fragiacomo.
