Prof. Yasmina Sultanbawa, ARC UAF Centre Director, discusses the importance of leaving the lab and working with communities

During a panel discussion at  a recent on-line event, FIRST, organised by The Institute for Food Technologies (IFT), ARC UAF Centre Director, Prof. Yasmina Sultanbawa cautioned scientists against complacency and urged them to challenge themselves.  Professor Sultanbawa and the other panellists also discussed the importance of two-way communication with indigenous communities and protecting traditional knowledge.
