Dr Michael Netzel
Dr Netzel has more than 20 years’ experience in polyphenol/phytochemical research focusing on plant food quality, bioavailability and bioactivity (in vitro and in vivo). He will contribute this expertise across composition analysis, toxicity and nutrition analyses.
Projects Dr Michael Netzel is involved with:
Australian Native Seaweed for Diet Diversification
Read moreThe development of food products with a focus on ingredients from native algae will be investigated in conjunction with Venus Shell Systems. The project target will be to define compositional and sensory properties of algal..
Nutritional quality and functionality of selected Australian native herbs
Read moreNative herbs and spices will identify sensory and nutritional properties and will particularly focus on toxicological risks associated with bush tomato, salt bush, gulbarn and jilungin. The project target will be to identify sufficiently promising..
